From Consulting to Creation: Why I Stopped Recommending and Started Building babyloop™️

Ever put one on and thought: “this just doesn’t feel right, what am I doing wrong?” You’re not alone.

I know this feeling personally. As a mom of three, I carried my children in all sorts of ways - testing, trying, sometimes battling my carrier more than enjoying the closeness. Later, as a certified babywearing consultant, I saw the same frustration in nearly every parent I worked with. In fact, 80% of parents struggle with babywearing - not because they don’t want to carry, but because the tools available make it unnecessarily hard.

For years, I did my best to help. In workshops, home visits, online sessions - I taught parents how to make the most of whatever carriers they had. But deep down, something kept bothering me: I was helping them adapt to products that were never really designed to adapt to them.

That’s when the realization hit me:

👉 Parents don’t need more carriers. They need one carrier that simply works - across ages, body types, and everyday situations.

Big brands weren’t going to solve this problem. They profit from confusion, from parents stacking up multiple carriers on shelves, buying “just one more” to cover another stage. But parents deserve better. They deserve a carrier that is easy, functional, and built for real life.

So I stopped recommending and started creating.

That’s how babyloop™ was born. Not just another carrier, but a rethinking of what babywearing should feel like: safe, intuitive, and empowering. A tool that gives parents confidence, rather than anxiety. A carrier that adapts seamlessly to newborns, toddlers, moms, dads: every family, every day.

It’s been years of testing, prototyping, and working with design experts to make sure every detail solves the problems I saw over and over again. And now, it’s real.
